Specialists in superior industrial furniture for both home and office, Hegron de Carle use their design background and eye for detail to source a stunning collection of furnishings, lighting and gifts. We head down to their newly opened London showroom to find out more.

What do you specialise in?

We source inspirational and unique industrial style furniture from around the world and ensure that our pieces are of the highest quality.

What do you look for when sourcing vintage pieces?

Our customers are very discerning and expect furniture that is going to last. When we are sourcing we make sure that the pieces we receive are not only stunning but are built for longevity.

What pieces continue to prove popular with your customers?

That’s a hard one to answer as we have a variety of unique one-off pieces. But of the ranges that we stock on a regular basis, it’s industrial wardrobes, coffee tables and sideboards that people come back to us for.How would you best describe your aesthetic?

We definitely like to be unique in our approach meaning that many of our pieces are quite quirky. Our customers are from a broad range of different lifestyles, ages and homes, so we always try to look out for vintage industrial style pieces that would look equally at home in an industrial warehouse home as well as a Georgian or Victorian apartment.

Why do you think the industrial style is still so popular with your customers?

Most of our customers are fairly creative and adventurous in their attitude to furniture and interior design. Our customers can see the quality of our products and the versatility of it in different home settings.

You’ve just moved to a new showroom in London’s Marylebone! Tell us a little about the space.

We have two floors of this lovely shop on Crawford Street that’s just 6 minutes from Baker Street and Marylebone tube stations. We have had the showroom redecorated and it provides a great backdrop to the industrial furniture and home furnishing accessories that we have.

What’s next for Hegron de Carle? Is there anything we should know about?

We are launching a brand new website in September which will complement the new look of our shop and make it even easier for our customers to buy online.
