Located in an old match factory in London, our team discovered a space boasting raw brick and with obvious potential. Much of the brickwork had been painted white but our designers created a more dramatic effect with the application of two deep shades of blue emulsion, enhancing the unique textural qualities of brick and giving life to a dream home.
The L-shaped and open-plan layout of the space afforded the Warehouse Home design team the opportunity to show all the benefits of typical New York style loft living, creating separate areas within a single flexible living arrangement.

Developers Urban Splash have pioneered warehouse living in the north of England for more than 25 years. And now, collaborating with leading architect Roger Stephenson, they’re converting one of Manchester’s last Victorian mills into 31 large loft apartments. They asked our design team to demonstrate its remarkable potential.
When the Warehouse Home design team arrived on site at Brownsfield Mill, they found the site completely stripped bare and flooded with natural light through factory windows. Cast iron columns, exposed brick walls and timber beams combined in a historic grade II* listed building with unique character. Over the coming days, as our team worked tirelessly, the space came to life.
