Void Sculptural Lighting By Tom Dixon

Posted on Feb 23, 2017 by

Inspired by the metallic shades of Olympic medals, Void is a sculptural lighting object which generates soft, mysterious luminosity. Crafted from precious metals; copper, brass and stainless steel sheets are pressed, spun and polished to create a high shine mirrored surface. An incandescent bulb is tucked away neatly within the dome like form, obscuring it from view.

Conceived from pure metal, Void is then formed into a convex like shade that can be used on walls and ceilings alike
