Loaf’s New Industrial Chic Collection
Loaf have released their SS16 furniture collection, and it’s ticking all the right boxes for the Warehouse Home team. From vintage-style beds to rustic shelving, Loaf are tapping into the industrial trend and giving it their own unique twist for classic and contemporary homes alike.
Beatnik Bed, £845, loaf.com
Described as the ‘star of the show’, Loaf’s new Beatnik model bed (above) is a perfect example of their new season focus on industrial. With detailed castings and a dusted cannonball finish, this piece has a beautiful weathered feel to it and will look just as striking with pretty pastel coloured linen as it will with darker, more masculine bedding.
Boomtown Side Table, £145, loaf.com
With a design that was inspired by vintage removal crates, this stand-out side table combines a reclaimed elm frame and mirror panels. The modern rustic table is a great way to create the illusion of space in a small room.
Dime Floor Lamp, £245, loaf.com
Loaf’s new Dime Floor Lamp is handmade from steel with a vintage inspired bronze finish. With an intricate frame reminiscent of Gustave Eiffel’s famous tower, the lamp channels a novel mid-century French aesthetic. The wire framework and geometric shapes are also bang on trend for 2016.
Hamburger Chairs, £270, loaf.com
Hand-welded “the old fashion way”, these minimal, metal chairs with gunmetal finish are ideally suited to a warehouse conversion, although they would look just as nice in a country kitchen. A simple linen seat pad ensures maximum comfort at the breakfast table.
Tickety Shelves, £545, loaf.com
Our favourite item from the new Loaf collection is this stepped shelving unit, with solid reclaimed fir shelves sourced from old buildings. The wood has given rustic, beached timber finish. The Ticket Shelves are space-saving and stylish. This is a lovely corner piece for a room and certainly won’t go unnoticed.
If you’d like to see these new designs in person, Loaf have now opened a showroom in Notting Hill. Why not arrange a visit?
