Lassco Ropewalk Photographic Exhibition

Posted on Sep 16, 2015 by

Architectural salvage firm LASSCO is hosting a photographic exhibition at LASSCO Ropewalk, Bermondsey, to coincide with the London Design festival 2015. Entitled ‘LASSCO Works’, the exhibition aims to convey the diversity of LASSCO stock by exploring an assortment of London-based interiors to which they’ve contributed unique decorative features.

The projects included in the 'LASSCO Works' London Design Festival photographic exhibition include this Aesop store in Borough Market London.

Featured projects include Aesop stores in London and Nottingham (pictured above and below), a painstaking recreation of a French bistro in the heart of South London, a sympathetic restoration of a traditional English pub, a Soho fashion house and an atmospheric artist’s studio and showroom. Vintage industrial elements are featured throughout, from enamel warehouse lighting and repurposed factory racks to reclaimed copper panelling and Victorian floorboards. And the professional photography captures the rich patina of many of the expertly sourced and salvaged pieces.

To admire several of LASSCO’s London interiors projects, and explore their latest stock, we recommend heading to Bermondsey for the ‘LASSCO Works’ exhibition. LASSCO Ropewalk is just a short walk from Tower Bridge and Bermondsey Street. And the photography event will run for the duration of London Design Festival, from the 19th to the 27th of September.

We featured a number of unique and unusual items discovered at LASSCO in Warehouse Home Issue Two. If you haven’t already, enjoy the digital edition here or in the reader below.
