Bombe Clock From Bad Dog Designs

From wristwatches to time machines Bad Dog Designs offer an eclectic collection of modern, contemporary and steampunk inspired designs handcrafted from recycled materials and original vintage items.

Inspired by original drawings the Bombe Clock, which took five months to complete, is a modern reinterpretation of the machine of the once used an to decipher encrypted messages during WWII. This unique item features original Nixie tubes, engraved lettering machined from original drawings and a brass Bombe label crafted in the same style as the Enigma badge fitted the machine the original Bombe was designed to replace. Custom electronics are developed in-house, enabling the clock to chime when each of the four drums are in exact position.
