A Design Classic: Bertoia Side Table
Designed by Harry Bertoia in 1952, the Bertoia side chair is one of the most readily recognisable mid-century modern design classics. An artist and sculptor, Bertoia had previously experimented with filigree, lattice-effects, open forms and metal work. The sculptural Bertoia seating collection was a continuation of that experimentation. The Bertoia side chair is constructed from industrial wire rods, making it strong and durable but at the same time striking in appearance – and actually really very comfortable. The chair is available in chrome and white or black bonded rislan; it is available with or without a fitted seat pad. Welcome a design icon into your home.
