ALTAR: 3 Upcycled Objects At 100% Design
Warehouse Home is a proud media partner for interior design show 100% Design, 21-24 September. 100% Design is the largest and longest running design industry trade event in the UK and we’re looking forward to seeing what the exhibiting brands and designers will be unveiling.
Always on the hunt for unusual and quirky upcycled designs that create a real wow-factor within an interior space, one of the exhibiting brands we are particularly excited to see this year is bespoke luxury furniture workshop, ALTAR who started almost by accident when founder and collector of Pinball machines, András Lacfi converted a broken unit into a coffee table.
Described as artifacts of fun, domestic worship and a celebration of personality, nostalgia and bold design, objects are decorated with pages from classic books, crystals and vintage backstage passes ensuring every table has it’s own unique story.
The Amper collection combines the look and feel of iconic music objects and paraphernalia such as cassettes, Hi Fi stands and amplifiers with soft furnishings, lighting and even hairpin legs to create a high end upcycled aesthetic. Create a dramatic focal point in an open plan industrial style interior with the dynamic form, colour and quirkiness of these one-off design objects.
‘V’ Coffee Table, £1014
‘O’ Pouf, £507
‘M’ Pouf, £507
