V&A With MADE.com: Plywood Accessories

Posted on Aug 8, 2017 by

The unsung hero of the design world, a new exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum will showcase the versatility of plywood. Iconic designers such as Charles and Ray Eames once used plywood to pioneer methods of mass production in furniture allowing the creation of some of the most iconic pieces of furniture of the 20th century. Since then, furniture design has relied upon the veneer to create the seamless, fluid curves evident in many of MADE.com‘s modern designs.
