2016 Interiors Colour Trends – Fiery Red
Leading trend forecasters WGSN have predicted that Fiery Red will be one of 2016’s hottest interior colours: “It spices up darks, excites neutrals and is sensational with other brights,” WGSN claim. “In the background or as an accent, Fiery Red brings warmth and dynamism to interior spaces.” The Warehouse Home team are also fans of this vibrant colour, so thought we’d share some of our favourite designs to help you see red!
You might remember we featured our Editor Sophie’s home in Warehouse Home Issue Two. Taking pride of place in her living room is the Orson sofa in ‘poppy red’ from made.com – inspired by the traditional English sofa, with simple lines and turned wooden legs, it looks fantastic against her warehouse home’s exposed brickwork and wooden floors.

First established in 1961, USM Modular Furniture remains as popular and practical as it is contemporary. This credenza features ‘ruby red’ powder coated steel panels. Vivid colours contrast brilliantly with raw, industrial interiors. This bright wall mounted tap by Vola, with a concrete basin by Kast Concrete Basins, is a perfect example of a successful pairing.
